The Bonecrusher

Errol Zimmerman

Mike’s Gym power with the overhand as the primary weapon. Every exchange a genuine risk to both fighters.

Errol Zimmerman came through Mike's Gym alongside Badr Hari and shared the same essential trait: enough power that any exchange could end the fight, thrown without much interest in whether the exchange was a good idea.

He bridged the K-1 and GLORY eras, reaching a K-1 Grand Prix final before the organisation collapsed and continuing through GLORY's early years. His fights were consistently among the most violent on any card, which built a following and shortened the useful part of his career.

Technically the overhand right is what opponents prepared for and often could not stop — thrown over a jab, on a downward arc that bypasses a guard built for straight lines.
