Roufusport

Duke Roufus came out of the American full-contact scene — the same family and the same era as Rick Roufus, whose 1988 loss to Changpuek Kiatsongrit taught American kickboxing what the low kick was worth. The gym that grew out of that lineage now teaches leg kicks as a foundation and exports strikers into mixed martial arts, which is about as complete a correction as a scene can make.
