Golden Glory

Golden Glory ran on scale: a large stable, a management arm that negotiated for the whole roster, and a pipeline that took big athletes from other sports and turned them into heavyweight kickboxers. At its peak it supplied a substantial share of the K-1 heavyweight field. That concentration was also a fragility — when Golden Glory and K-1’s management fell out in 2011, a large part of the division became unavailable at once.
