Unlimited above the light-heavyweight line — the division that made K-1 and still sells the sport.

Professional heavyweight kickboxing has no upper limit. That is why Semmy Schilt at well over two metres could compete against Ernesto Hoost, and why size disparity is a live tactical factor here in a way it is nowhere else.

The division is the sport's commercial engine. Every K-1 Grand Prix that built the promotion was contested here, and GLORY's heavyweight title has been the sport's most valuable belt for a decade. It is also the division where the ruleset's effects are most visible: Rico Verhoeven's long reign rests on conditioning, which matters precisely because GLORY refuses to let a heavyweight rest in the clinch.

WAKO's amateur heavyweight caps at 91 kg with a separate super-heavyweight above it, which is the usual amateur approach and one more reason amateur and professional divisional names do not map onto each other.
